This note was developed in the seventh century in the nation of China. It is much advantageous for one to use the paper money. When one is making the silver or copper coins, there is a lot of work that is involved. However, when making the paper, one needs to just print the details in as special kind of paper.

Transporting the paper money is much better and easier than the silver and the copper coins. This is due to the fact that one note can carry such a big sum value which may be equivalent to many pounds of the coins. The notes have their value written on them.

Some countries offer the notes in their central bank. In others, commercial bank is the one given authority to offer money. This are printed using a cotton paper. Since the money will move through the hands of different people, it is made using the anti tare protection.

Different countries have different names for their money. The most common names include the dollars and pounds. The current ones contain the picture of either the reigning king of the nation or the first king. It also contains the slogan of that nation. Behind it, there is an image representing their country.

Banknotes have existed for many centuries. However, there are people who have come up with fake notes and distributed them to the people around them as they did business with them. In some countries, making, possessing and exchanging fake notes to people is a big crime.
